Valini Ramnarine

Valini is a licensed clinical psychologist employed at The Centre for Human Development, where she currently provides individual psychotherapy. She has an avid interest in serving her community and in promoting and improving the welfare of those in need. It is this passion and interest in human development that led her to pursue a in Psychology at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus, which eventually led to her pursuance of her In Clinical Psychology at the University of the West Indies, Mt. Hope Campus. Her graduate training allowed her the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team at St. Ann`s Psychiatric Hospital and its outpatient clinic as well as the Behavioural Health Clinic at Mt. Hope Hospital. These experiences strengthened her clinical and therapeutic skills as it offered a unique chance to work with and treat a diverse population with a multitude of mental health issues.
